The opening address will be given by Dr. Pedro Calado from the Portuguese High Commissioner for Migration and several international experts will give keynotes on:

• the Holocaust education, global citizenship & intercultural competence by Prof. Zehavit Gross of the Bar-Ilan University in Israel

• Multicultural perceptions of sound universes by Prof. Álvaro Barbosa of the University of Saint Joseph in Macau, China

• Latest trends in interculturality in education by Prof. Fred Dervin of the University of Helsinki, Finland.

The Conference organised by the Centre for Intercultural Studies of the Oporto Polytechnic Institute will take place on 28, 29 and 30 March 2019 in Porto and will be divided into 4 thematic panels:
1. Theoretical concepts of interculturalism and multiculturalism

2. Routes of cultural tourism

3. Multimodal intercultural dialogues

4. Intercultural studies in business
